On August 5, 2016, Robert Lewis Mitchell, III suddenly passed away in his sleep. He was nineteen years old. In the aftermath, his family decided to tragedy into hope by establishing the Lew Mitchell Scholarship. After several months, an autopsy revealed that Lew’s death was the result of complications associated with asthma. The Mitchell family has joined FARC, an organization for which Lew volunteered his time, with two goals in mind: 1) to increase awareness about asthma, and 2) to raise money for FARC’s Lew Mitchell Scholarship for Volunteerism & Leadership.
We invite you to join a short conversation about this important cause, a discussion about health and wellness, and some light stretching before we head out for our own personal Virtual 5k.
